Advice please from anyone who's made the Tilly and the Buttons Marnie... I'm planning to make it this weekend but I'm panicking I won't have enough fabric. I have my heart set on making it with my 2.5 m of this month's classic fabric but looking at my measurements and the back of the pattern I think I stray into the next size up that means I need 3.2m. I'm hoping with a bit of juggling around with the patterm pieces, and omitting the pin tucks and ruffles (I really wanted the ruffles though), I might be able to make it work. I'd love any advice from anyone who's needed to do the same and any hints & tips please. Thank you x
Marnie help!

I managed to make the Marnie top size 5 (I think) with the ruffle collar and shoulder ruffle but without the tucks, from the black Dolby fabric we got in October's box. That was 2.5 metres. I wouldn't have had enough for the dress version. Hope that helps x

If you have the space I would test out laying the pattern pieces on your fabric first - a lot of pattern companies are quite generous with their fabric suggestions.
Also, you can have a play around with laying some of the pattern pieces upside down as the print isn't super directional.
The other way you can often make it work is to lay your fabric out flat instead of folding it in half. You have to remember to flip your pattern pieces when you need to cut two mirrored. But you can often make your fabric go further that way

Thank you @Lucy and Hayley, that's super helpful. I've washed a different sweatshirt fabric as well so I'll either make the Billie or the Marnie this weekend. Not sure I'll have time for both! Thanks for all of your help x
