Rivi Blouse

I finished the Rivi Blouse by Chalk and Notch that I was making during yesterday's social.

The fabric is some mystery content that I bought when we lived in Cyprus, so about 10 years it has been in my stash!

I made a size 4, which is a size down from my measured size and it feels a good fit, as it is supposed to be oversized. The instructions were excellent and it came together very well.

I did not do French seams (life's too short!) and I managed to find some blue buttons in my stash that I think look OK. I had lots of white buttons but not enough of each type, or they were the wrong size.

I am quite pleased with this blouse and may try the dress version sometime.

This looks gorgeous Diane, love the yoke. I bought the pattern while on the Community social with Hayley this week, just looking for the right fabric to make it with.

That looks great. You have done the yokes so well and I think you made the right call with the sizing.

Thank you. I really like this pattern and it fits nicely, so I am glad I sized down.

I love that blouse and watched Stash Stitcher on YouTube who did a really good walk through with the pattern. I like the subtle strips on your version.

Thank you. I also watched Kim's video and I had already started mine at that point, but she is very good.
