You'll love it. I just tried out on some scrap fabric. Tip is to make sure you understand the right order of the snaps.

I love electric scissors - we use them for cutting fabric for the boxes and I have used them a few times to cut patterns with long straight lines... wouldn't trust myself at corners though
I need to get them out of the box and use them properly. Â I usually use a rotary cutter for longer straight lines but I'm not overly successful on the corners - so will definitely need to practice on straight lines with my electric scissors.Â
