Really pleased to have found this forum as I find sewing quite solitary as not many of my friends are crafty. The other thing I've found recently is sewing podcasts on you tube, so if anyone has any recommendations

Hello, I'm Wendy and I live in north west Essex, not far from Cambridge. I've been sewing most of my life, but started again seriously about 12 years ago. I make my own clothes, but also enjoy machine embroidery and patchwork & quilting.

Hi, I'm Bev from north Wales. I'm glad to see some fellow introverts on here. Not confident enough to post on instagram (although I have tried). Love receiving my SHJ box each month and hoping to reduce my fabric stash in 2025 by actually making some clothes.

I'm Theresa, and I live in West Yorkshire. I used to see as a child (even had a plastic workable machine). Fast forward 40 years, my grandson was born last year, and I picked up sewing in September again. I have found such a passion for sewing garments. My next goal is to learn how to grade and alter patterns to ensure a good fit.
