I'm thoroughly enjoying this feature. I can't decide though if I wish it had a feed back/comments feature, or if my mind is more at peace without one? I know that when I've been nosyiny at other people's sewing rooms I'd have liked to have left hearts or something 🧵🪡 to show appreciation ☺️

Thanks so much for adding this to the membership Hayley. I have a subscription to the other popular stash management software but it is up for renewal soon. Whilst I find it very useful to see what I've got, I don't use a lot of the fields for information and the extra features.

So, I sat down last night and added a large batch of my fabrics to my sewing room on TSG and found it to be a much quicker process. I just put all of the specify fabric details in the comments box.

Perhaps in the future it would be useful to have a check box to denote whether a fabric is prewashed or not. Also it might be useful, for those that have a big stash, to be able to do a keyword search to find things easily - such as all viscose fabrics. Other than that, I think you have covered all that most people need and use – well done to you and Andy.

I haven't used the project and community makes function yet but it will come. Just as soon as I can get back in my sewing room.... which is currently about 40 degrees!

Absolutely loving it! I've only added one project so far, but i'll update fabrics, notions, patterns when I have time. It's such a great idea! Thanks so much for adding this x

I love this feature. I have started to add my patterns to my patterns stash. It gives me an overview and I think this is one key to not buying new patterns all the time, which is brilliant.

Adding my projects to the sewing room is a great way to keep track.

I have started uploading my stash and can't wait to get everything fully organised.

I would love to see a tick box to idicate if the fabric is pre-washed.

I don't seem to find a feature to search the stash, patterns & notions etc? That would be very helpful to find specific things when I finally get everything uploaded.

How do you view the other member's projects.

Hi Hayley, after seeing your YouTube channel all about this today, I have signed up and start logging stash and fabrics.

What a wonderful tool you've created! Thank you so much! It's great to be able to log as much detail as you like to your makes including what you have learnt and what you'd do differently next time.

I'd love it if there were were a metric measurement option when uploading stash fabric. Although I usually use imperial measurements with seam allowances, when I buy fabric I always work in metres - my brain somehow doesn't fathom yards 😂

I am another new arrival to TSG, after seeing a random video on YouTube and then looking at more and more until I finally decided to have a look at the web site yesteray.

I have never seen anything like the Sewing Room for listing what Stash you have. I have started small with the project I am currently working on, adding the pattern, fabric & thread.

I would love to see a field in the Fabric Stash for the fabric type (woven or Knitted - maybe just a simple optional drop down) and also one for the fabric composition (Cotten, Linen, Rayon etc - probably best as a text box to cope with blends).

A way of searching for types of fabric would be great, so if have a pattern in mind I can search for any fabric in my stash that is suitable.

When adding my Thread to the 'Notion' could there either be a seperate 'Thread' section. I was not sure how to record the different size rolls of thread I have (100m, 250m & even 1 x 1,000m. Also as a roll of thread will ususally last multiple projects it would be good to be able to select Full, 3/4, 1/2 or 1/4 full for the amount of thread remaining on the roll.

I was also thinking about how to enter my elastic, I tend to buy packs with a set length, and will usually buy a couple packs at a time - should I add the total length of the elastic from all packs?

I hope you don't mind the longer message, my brain is currently buzzing and I wish that I did not have to work and could spend more time going through my Stash and starting to get more of it added.

All in all I am so impressed and can't wait to see how this develops 💚😀🙏
