At the market this morning, I could not take photos, too clumsy and slow. But please imagine:
An elegant older lady in a panelled skirt that looked to be made of colourful scarves.
Crisp azure cotton Capri trousers with large broderie anglaise type cut outs.
A kimono style jacket made from double gauze, cuffs rolled to give a bit of weight to the sleeves.
The great thing about sewing your own is that you can pick up inspiration!
