Sorry Hayley for dropping out of your sew social - it must have seemed so rude - but my phone over heated and needed to switch off. (It was red hot when I took it out of its case). Unfortunately I can't switch to a laptop as I don't have broadband. It's a shame as I was enjoying listening to other humans!
Are there ever any in person Socials connected to this lovely site/community? I'm guessing everyone is spread too far and wide? (I'm in Redcar, on the North Yorkshire coast)

At the moment there aren't any in person socials that we run... I'm all the way down in Southampton so a bit of a journey

Oh Southhampton! You're near where my grandmother lived when she first came to England (Portsmouth). It's a shame there aren't any in person meets, but I suppose the beauty of this site is that it gathers together people from far and wide!
