Modified Dee And Doe Myosotis Dress

Hi All

I have been shamefully missing in action on here over the past few months. You know when you get out of the habit of attending something and then get a bit scared about starting again... Anyway, although I have been absent, my hands haven’t been idle. One of my latest makes is a hacked myosotis dress that I made for an evening wedding reception. The fabric was a beautiful viscose from Sew sew sew with a bold pattern contrasted with delicate lurex threads.

I added puff sleeves with an elasticated hem and a waist tie for better shaping. I omitted the ruffle on the bottom although in hindsight I should have maybe kept it on. A few days after the wedding, I teamed the dress with a denim jacket and trainers for a beautiful evening in Cardiff.
