Sally Shirt Launch Day

Putting my Sally shirt here first 😊

Sally is the new pattern from Sew Over It and as a pattern insider I was gifted the pattern in return for an honest review. I had just under a metre of this fabric but as the button placket is a separate piece it made it easy to use a contrasting fabric (also a remnant from stash).

The back has a lovely yoke and box pleat detail, there is a bust dart for nice shaping. The armscye is finished with bias binding. I would say it's a relatively easy and quick make but my machine was not cooperating.

I have another one already waiting to be cut out to go with my falconer striped trousers. Sally is definitely a staple in the wardrobe

That looks a useful top. I especially like the colours and you've matched it well with the contrast placket and collar. I'd happily wear that!!
