Hi! Finished this make in the social this week and a few people said they’d skipped over this pattern not loving the sample pics but wanted to see this one more - so here it is.
I like it a lot more than I thought I would. The tie is flattering and can be pulled more or less depending on how you want it to look and feel. The flounce gives it some movement and you can make a longer version as well. And it has pockets! Obviously a winner.
I made mine in a viscose from Beyond The Pink Door which I think was a good option as it’s really flowy and soft. A fairly simple make as well; nothing complicated at all really. A fair amount of gathering on the flounce but it’s done in sections so not too bad really.
It also pairs with the Lazo jumpsuit pattern from last year so you can mix and match the tops and bottoms. All in all, highly recommend as a lovely summer dress
