Doing some knitting while watching, and just poured a Prosecco and Chambord, which might put an end to the knitting!

Obviously being a Geordie, I know who Charlotte is!

Is anyone multi-tasking and doing a bit of sewing while watching?

I'm excited too, but again, I only know 'H' from Steps!  I thought maybe it was my age, but I'm reassured to see that you two don't know them either as you are both spring chickens!!!

I like 'H', but wasn't he the villain in Line of Duty?

I've got an early start tomorrow so I'm recording it.

I hope Kellie Bright does well.

Favourite make of 2024 has to be my Cashmerette Roseclair dress.  As soon as I saw the fabric in the box I wanted to make the Roseclaire but didn't have enough as this pattern eats fabric!!  then the fabric came on the outlet shop and I snaffled enough.  Love, Love, Love this dress.

A previous fabric from the SHJ classic box along with the new look pattern 6571. A little challenging for me and not perfect, but am pleased with the result. Raph won garment of the week using this pattern and a gold brocade fabric on The Great British Sewing Bee from June 2021

Hi everyone I've just deployed a new feature for post replies and you should now have a notification bell at the top of the website where any reply notifications will be sent.

upload-1-1734627200-s16UG61FP8.jpeg

There's a new Reply button under every post and clicking on this will scroll you down to the commenting box and include the original post above it so you comment directly to someone else.

I'll be adding more features to notifications soon, such as email digests. You'll be able to choose how often you get a summary from the site that will contain all your new notifications - with the option to completely disable it if you prefer not to receive any emails.

Please let me know if there are any issues with the new replying functionality at all 🙂

I have a Juki DX7 which I love. I received from my partner last christmas and I love it.I did have a brother machine to start off with , to learn on. then I upgraded to another brother, which I still have. Then my Juki appeared. LOL. Last month I treated myself to an overlocker which is a Brother 2104D. I did go into the shop for a lesson first and it does what it needs to do and I like it. Im still getting used to threading it though. I would have liked an air threader but sadly my pennies dont reach that far. I am happy with it and thats all that matters.
