Buttons for me, the thought of it all going wrong and ruining my garment terrifies me. Will opt for zips or elastic every time. I am going to challenge myself to try them next year though having just bought the TATB Nell dress.

I have made some very quick and simple bookmarks from some fat quarters from the boxes. I am a teaching assistant so they are a Christmas gift for the children in my class.

Favourite make of 2024 has to be my Cashmerette Roseclair dress.  As soon as I saw the fabric in the box I wanted to make the Roseclaire but didn't have enough as this pattern eats fabric!!  then the fabric came on the outlet shop and I snaffled enough.  Love, Love, Love this dress.

I'm excited too, but again, I only know 'H' from Steps!  I thought maybe it was my age, but I'm reassured to see that you two don't know them either as you are both spring chickens!!!

I'm not exactly new to sewing, have made the odd thing over the years through necessity, but have decided to take it up as a hobby, something to enjoy and have a bit of "me" time. Really looking forward to getting some inspiration from here 😊

I'm making more bags lately so I'd love an industrial machine that could cope well with vinyl. 
in a dream world ( and a bigger sewing room) I'd love an embroidery machine again but I can't justify it for the little I would use it
