1 week agoMy corduroy Sanda jacket (Merchant & Mills) has been waiting for buttons to be sewn on since April. The fabric is too thick for my machine to cope with the buttonholes - it just doesn't want to know. One day I'll get round to doing it the old-fashioned way and sew it by hand. Unless anyone has any other ideas?

1 week agoI have the same issue myself. I'm planning on having a big sort out of my sewing space then I'll pick an pattern that I know well and will be less stress to make than something new. Also sew in short bursts like 1/2 a day. Chelsea from Friday pattern co did that recently
