I made one at my former patchwork/quilting group about five or six years ago.

If a project you are working on isn't working out the way you hoped what do you do?

Do you plough on to the end and hope you like the finished garment?

Do you put it away and come back to it later?

Do you try and change it into something else?

Or do you scrap it completely and move on?

My corduroy Sanda jacket (Merchant & Mills) has been waiting for buttons to be sewn on since April. The fabric is too thick for my machine to cope with the buttonholes - it just doesn't want to know. One day I'll get round to doing it the old-fashioned way and sew it by hand. Unless anyone has any other ideas?

So sorry to hear about the trouble, does going directly to the web address threadysetgo.com in your web browser not work for you? Do you get a particular error message?

I have just tried again and it worked! Before I couldn't even find the website lol.

Thank you.

Happy New Year 🤩

I have the same issue myself. I'm planning on having a big sort out of my sewing space then I'll pick an pattern that I know well and will be less stress to make than something new. Also sew in short bursts like 1/2 a day. Chelsea from Friday pattern co did that recently
