Diane this looks so good!!! what pattern did you use?

SewHayleyJane - 3 weeks ago

I followed the advice I was kindly given by sewists on the forum and it's the TATB Stevie top. Great pattern and easy to follow instructions. Sewing this has really helped to boost my confidence in sewing garments and see where I can improve. I'd never heard of under stitching before so that's a new skill I've learnt!

Thanks Hayley! I will look at these.

I've also looked at Nina Lee Holland Park dress & By Hand London Jenna dress.

I'm sorry to hear that Catherine, it's always tricky when you loose your sewjo. Is there anything particular that made you feel this way? Sometimes a string of projects that didn't go well or fitting issues can put us in a slump

The selvedges these days often have interesting notes - used this to add detail to 2 dresses I made for granddaughters. The fabric was from the June 2024 luxury box - there is enough left to make a dress for me. Will make an interesting family photo.

Here is the Size Me Serene Jumpsuit pattern that I've just finished making, using my material from the luxury March box. Love it! So comfortable and the best bit is it unwraps so you can go to the loo without having to take it off! Material is perfect for it too!

Made this from the Simple Sew magazine. Very simple make. Sparse instructions but easy to figure out. Really happy with the fabric matching at the front and around the pockets.
