Enjoyed the show on Friday but it was exhausting, so tired by the time I left to catch my train home, richer for fabrics but poorer 😀

I followed the advice I was kindly given by sewists on the forum and it's the TATB Stevie top. Great pattern and easy to follow instructions. Sewing this has really helped to boost my confidence in sewing garments and see where I can improve. I'd never heard of under stitching before so that's a new skill I've learnt!

This is so good to hear Diane I'm so pleased it's boosted your confidence!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to draw your attention to this challenge which is coming up in April as I'm co-hosting it with Gabrielle from Cloth Edit.

I haven't made it before. Perhaps if you share the steps you're not sure on, we could help?

Hi Jasmin, I don't have lots of experience or knowledge with trouser fitting, but wondering if you've tried these resources:

So - did everyone enjoy the Stitch Festival? It was intense & exhausting but also INCREDIBLE!! Loved meeting sewing friends, old and new, as well as browsing the stands and making a few little purchases. Also LOVED doing the catwalk show. Super fun! Bring on the next event!

How about making something like a bag or not as demanding as a palette cleanser to get you back your sewjo?

Think I'll try and make a simple fabric basket to use up some bits I have lying around.

I'm sorry to hear that Catherine, it's always tricky when you loose your sewjo. Is there anything particular that made you feel this way? Sometimes a string of projects that didn't go well or fitting issues can put us in a slump

I don't know. I've made a few bit (garments) but never wear them as when I've done previously I've had a few negative comments so think it's confidence.
