Beautiful shirts Hayley but I particularly love the white one as it looks so christmassy, although I think they might be strawberries? They look fab on you!

I hear you ๐Ÿ‘‹ I've promised my daughter a few makes to go in her suitcase for her trip to New Zealand in February.ย  My problem is I've got a head bursting with exciting ideas and fingers itching to stitch all the time! But real life kicks in..housework. work etc..ย  I'd better get cracking on those summery dresses, the housework might just have to wait โœ‹๏ธย

I mean... the word SEW is right there in the middle of houSEWork... I think that's telling you something!

I was lucky enough to be thoroughly spoiled, my wish list was gifted entirely! An overlocker โค๏ธ. mini iron and folding mat, cutting mat and books and patterns. I'm truly grateful for my wonderful family who support me in my hobbies and interests

Hi all!ย
I love my subscription box...but I just need more spare time in my life to make all the things my brain dreams up!!

I have two projects for other people that MUST be finished for March 2025 ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Does anyone else have the same problem? Am I prioritising the wrong things, ie. work, housework, family...? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

She bought it off Amazon. There is no manufacturers name on it or the box that it came in.

My daughter has 4 tutors at her home ed group and they are all amazing so I wanted to make them something.ย
I've used the 1 meter lengths from the boxes in all of these, and some fabric left over from other projects. ( I made 2 of the red version)ย

Hi everyone hope you all had a grand Christmas and are looking forward to a busy 2025 sew fest! I'm Penny in North Essex and am a relative newcomer to garment sewing - I am also a quilter. I have great plans for next year - first stop clearing the sewing space of all the boxes and rubbish stuffed in there to make the rest of the house look reasonable! But that will wait till twelfth night in the meantime some lovely sewing plans to dive into..... Thanks Hayley for creating this amazing site - am so looking forward to making sewing friends and expanding my sewing skills next year. Bye for now! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹

A previous fabric from the SHJ classic box along with the new look pattern 6571. A little challenging for me and not perfect, but am pleased with the result. Raph won garment of the week using this pattern and a gold brocade fabric on The Great British Sewing Bee from June 2021
