Hi everyone.

I'm Alice, and I live in Hampshire, not far from Hayley's studio. I've been sewing since the end of 2021 and am absolutely hooked! Can't wait to read about all your projects.

Hello, Kirsten here from Stoke on Trent, started seeing again in 2020 but nothing major and this year I've really got in to it! Love watching all the sewing vlogs, and collecting loads of lovely fabrics and patterns. I do make the occasional garment, but my sewing is much slower than my fabric buying!

My lovely husband bought me a circa 1905 Bradbury's Soeze for Christmas, it's beautiful!

I've got my eye on a Bernina to upgrade from my Pfaff Passport, but trying to work out which one, so any recommendations welcome.

Only the second time I have actually managed to make a garment from the supplementary fabric and I'm so pleased with it.  It's the Sew So Easy Linen V top (not just for linen!).  it took a bit of pattern tetris, but i managed to get it out of the metre. And it was surprisingly easy fabric to sew with

I managed it!! After Mia went to bed last night I got this cute Lounge Sweatshirt from Brindle and Twigg made. Would be a super quick make usually but the sequins and lining the sleeves slowed things down a bit

Ha ha ha! 😂

I need to sew 2 cat toys for my 2 furballs! I'm waiting for the last minute as I'll add catnip and I don't want anyone destroying any gifts under the Christmas tree!

Haha, that's a very good thought
