Hiya - I've made my husband a towelling fleecy dressing gown with the Named pattern from a previous box.

I've made two aviator hats for my Brother and his partner using the Waves and wild pattern which I would really recommend.

....and last but not least stockings and Christmas hats!

I'd post photos but I've already wrapped everything 😂

Looking forward to a selfish sew in the new year 😂

Hi everyone I've just deployed a new feature for post replies and you should now have a notification bell at the top of the website where any reply notifications will be sent.

upload-1-1734627200-s16UG61FP8.jpeg

There's a new Reply button under every post and clicking on this will scroll you down to the commenting box and include the original post above it so you comment directly to someone else.

I'll be adding more features to notifications soon, such as email digests. You'll be able to choose how often you get a summary from the site that will contain all your new notifications - with the option to completely disable it if you prefer not to receive any emails.

Please let me know if there are any issues with the new replying functionality at all 🙂

This is great! It's great to be here from the beginning and see the progress.

Currently I can only access the site if I click on the link to verify my account.

Will this change when it is up and running fully? Have you considered making an app?

I am exited to see the evolution of ThreadySetGo.

I only know "H" and Charlotte from Geordie Shore - only because my daughter watched it!

Ahh yes, my daughter enjoys some of those programmes too. I only know who Charlotte is because she is literally on every celebrity programme going 🤣

I'm going to be without my Pfaff Creative for the first time since buying it as it's at the shop getting repaired. It kept thinking that the presser foot was up when it was down.
I thought I would manage fine without it, but now I keep thinking of everything I want to make and can't.

Oh no!! How long will it be in the repair shop for? Have you got a backup?

It will be gone at least till January 6th, so for my entire Christmas break 😱

SewHayleyJane - 3 weeks ago

Having just sewn with sequins for the first time I'm wondering if Esme made her top and did she snip off all the sequins in the seam allowance?!

Hi  Everyone I'm Maria from Melbourne Australia of Italian heritage and have stitched and sewn since I was a child, (found out it's in my ancestry with tailors in the family). Have done alot of cross stitch, tapestry and dressmaking over the years and love it! Used to buy the UK Prima and Me magazines back in the late 80s and 90s and I love all crafty things UK!  Predominately use Prima Patterns (yes the old 90s patterns fashion are back lol) and  the big 4 but my next favourite is Sewgirl aka Fiona Hesford (her patterns were in the sewing mags) First year subscriber to SHJ box and it's fantastic bit pricey for me in Australia but totally worth it as it challenges me plus  I like to see what others make.!  MY fav vloggers are Bec, Ruan, Tamlyn, Rachel, Adele.
