Do You Toile?

In the past I would just make up the item, so I could wear it quickky. Now I prefer to have better fitting garments so I toile every new pattern. I enjoy the slower process much more now.

Yes, I do, I'm not over keen on the 'crafty' stuff. Once a year is great for me, but I hate that it co-incides with Cheltenham (and it's very crowded at the weekend). I do thik though, that i spend more on fabric than on unsuccessful bets!

Thank you. The boatneck is bound using the same fabric and the high neck is just overlocked then turned over and hemmed. I used maraflex thread for the straight stitching on the necklines and hems but overlocked everything else

It isn't such an issue now Hayley, (s central heating became more common) but it's the kind of legislation that it's hard to repeal, as it causes more bother than it's worth.
