I was tidying my sewing space and opened my box of paper patterns. Unbeknownst to me, my cat that likes to chew cardboard has got in there and made rather a mess. Lots of tiny bits of patterns.

I loved them all but my favourite was the Eddy Blazer - it was a tough challenge I probably wouldn't have attempted alone but the support of other members plus Hayley's videos made it achievable and I wear mine all the time!

I absolutely love the Falconer pants. I have made a toile plus 2 pairs so far. The fit is fantastic and easy to modify for a narrower leg if needed. I love Hayley's questions for the guests every month. I have learned a lot. All the guests have...

Hello, I am so glad to have discovered this site, and am amazed it has taken me so long! I live in East Northamptonshire, I'm in my 70s, have been sewing so long that I don't remember learning - yet I often feel like a beginner! I make most of my own...

Here are my plans - - Paint the bathroom ceiling - we had it replastered a while ago and just haven't got around to painting it! - Go through my pile of jeans that have worn in the inside leg and see if they can be repaired.... then repair them!...

Love that idea! Would love to see a photo when it's finished! Another thought I had was to sew some shirring - either all the way around the bust or in a panel at the back for a bit of shaping

Thank you for the followup! I'm still in the process, but I took your advice and removed the waistband. I''m converting the waistband to create straps and make it into a halter dress!

That sounds lovely Hayley! I actually have so little time to sew right now with the podcast etc - I did cut out a Tilly and the buttons Marnie blouse as thought this would be nice for Christmas. Whether I get it made is another thing 🙈😂

Oooh exciting times! Glad you were able to cut around the fold, and I think lining it is a good idea - might make the poly a bit more comfortable next to your skin. Sounds like a slippery nightmare but good it's all big pieces!
