Thank you Hayley. I am so pleased with this coat. I am glad I took the plunge and cut into this fabric. It was probably still cheaper than buying a RTW wool coat!

My goal is to continue with perfecting the fit of trousers, with the aim of moving on to jeans with all the jeans features. How far I'll get with that in 2026 is anyone's guess, but I'd like to keep working towards it! I'm also planning on...

The Matchy Matchy Homebody was the least involved make. The Button holes on the Ormond were stressful so I made them on my embroidery machine. But they are all straightforward makes and I enjoyed them all equally.

I can definitely recommend a wide leg pull on trouser - I often find bagging around my tummy but the Chanterelle pants from Sew Liberated are the perfect fit! They are quite wide but you could definitely reduce that width!

I've made the Closet Core Ginger Jeans a few times and really liked them. It says they're skinny jeans, but both pairs I've made came out more like narrow straight leg than truly skinny. It's a mission cutting out all the pieces of it though!
